Brazing Rod

Brazing is the process of joining two metal surfaces by fusing a layer of copper, brass or high melting point solder, between them. Refrigerant tubing is typically brazed using an oxyacetylene torch at a temperature of about 3,000 degrees Centigrade to create a solid, leak free joint.
